Ahhh! the great question
" How Much $$$$$? "
As with any pricing,
seal-coating and related services are subject to a multitude of
considerations. The condition of the asphalt, how big the job is,
how much time is spent in prep work, the quality of materials that are
going to be used, this all can and will determine the pricing you
I base my pricing on what
I consider to be "fair market value" the main two ingredients
are what it cost me to do the job with the highest quality materials,
and how much margin I need to stay in business to be able to service my
loyal customer base. "Keep in mind that seal-coaters have
kids that need shoes too!"
All that said; For
an average residential driveway, you should expect to pay between $0.12to $0.15 per square foot, for a quality job consisting of all
preparation work and two coats of
industrial grade sealer with sand. This
job last you should between 3-5 years.
